Improving road safety. Especially with regard to the mutual recognition of technical inspections throughout Europe, uniform inspection standards are necessary, which must be carried out and monitored by independent bodies.

GÜK (Gesellschaft zur Überwachung von Kraftfahrzeugen mbH) and TÜV Rheinland Fahrzeugüberwachung GmbH (TRF) are now members of QM e.V. and are already participating in the joint quality initiative.

In addition to successfully applied strategies, this specially created medium will focus in particular on the experiences of all those involved and encourage open communication.

78 auditors from various monitoring organisations have been successfully trained in recent months to carry out unannounced follow-up checks on commercial vehicles and KOM.

To support the work of the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS), QM e.V. will actively participate in the development of detailed requirements for the accreditation of monitoring organisations.
