Privacy

To execute quality controls beyond the own organisation and to present oneself to competitors means a cautious handling of the given information. All auditors are obliged to comply with the data protection requirements of the German Data Protection Ordinance (DSGVO). Already after the start of the quality offensive, a trusting relationship developed among the auditors despite the competition between the organizations.

The procedures given by QM e.V. have been intensively examined as to data privacy. Not only the great PTI companies like DEKRA, TÜV SÜD, GTÜ and TÜV NORD have been involved but also specialist lawyers who have checked the procedures very critically and thoroughly. In summer 2009, the responsible person of the Berlin Senate has certified that there are no reservations as to privacy.
